When Seven Seas opened in 1987, the general perception was that Chinese food consisted mainly of dishes like General Tso’s chicken and spring rolls. Owners Edward and Corinna Shen were eager to change that image and introduce authentic Chinese cuisine.

One of the very first and best fresh Chinese seafood restaurants in the Washington Metropolitan area, our restaurant has been a hidden treasure in Rockville since 1987.
