Peking Duck House – Midtown

It is all about the duck!
One of The most sophisticated arts of Chinese Cooking. We prepare well in advance. First, air is first pumped into the duck to stretch and loosen the skin, and then boiled water is repeatedly spread over the bird, which is then carefully dried. The dried skin is rubbed all over with maltose and the duck is then roasted in a hot oven for a period of time until the meat is tender and the skin crispy.

We serve our duck with house-made pancakes, green scallions, fresh cucumbers and special sauce. Advanced method of preparation for Peking Duck, to accommodate customer is made within 15 minutes of ordering time.

Hours of Operation
Sun-Thurs: 11:45am – 10:30pm
Fri-Sat: 11:45 am – 11:00 pm

In a casual, comfortable and contemporary setting, the restaurant is comprised of two main dining areas and a private room for special events and engagements.

Inside our main dining area (1, 2, 3) the chandeliers and overhead lighting plays against the rooms rich color pallet, stone walls and tan backdrop.

While the more casual front room (4, 5) offers a view of the city streets and features wood-paneled walls, two-toned stone wall tiling & fresh flowers. (Not to worry, our windows are frosted mid-waist to provide a more private dining experience).

Whether it’s a dinner party or a private romantic dinner for two, we will look to provide you with the table that’s right for your occassion.

Very few will find in the heart of Chinatown neighborhood a place to not only enjoy great food, but to also remove themselves from the normally erratic neighborhood.

After 20 plus years of being in the business, in 2004, our Chinatown location was given a well deserved modern makeover. Transforming our exterior framework into a delicate balance of steel, glass and wood trimmings and giving our interior some needed color, texture and personality (2).

Upon stepping through the front door, you will be delighted by the combined arrangements of floral, textiles and lighting. Ambiant lighting in the back dresses the main floor (4), while a softer single light hung above the side tables are meant for the more intimate dinners (3).

Our dining area has also expanded with the intent of given our diner more space, not to fit more tables.
